John V. Morgan

I am John V. Morgan, an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God and pastor of Restoration Church. Generosity is critically important to everyone, regardless of position. Stewardship is a key principle that advances the mission of the local church. The power of generosity it can transform the life of both the giver and receiver. As a pastor, there are a lot of areas that I look at in trying to evaluate whether or not the people under my care are growing and maturing as followers of Jesus. There are a lot of qualities that define true discipleship, but the two primary questions that help me in measuring spiritual vitality are these: are they serving, and are they giving? Those two areas, serving and giving, are good benchmarks that reveal the level of spiritual growth and the depth of commitment to Kingdom principles. For that idea in mind, I'd like to offer some very simple yet very practical ideas for cultivating generosity and the people I am called to serve.
